Avant tout film c'est Netflix qui sort grand vainqueur des
Nominations des Oscars qui sans en prévoir les résultats fin février donnent
une grosse claque aux habitudes, et l'Académie des Oscars n'a pas fait dans la
dentelle en faisant de Roma d'Alfonso Cuaron le plus nominé et en donnant
plusieurs nominations au film des Frères Coen La Ballade de Buster Scruggs.
Autre changement important, dans les meilleurs films, les
films doivent être en langue anglaise ce qui n'est pas le cas de Roma parler en
espagnol, gros changement la porte est ouverte.
Absence incroyable de Justin Hurwirtz dans la catégorie
Meilleure Musique, ils doivent être sourd ce n’est pas possible. Au résultat
inhabituel la présence d'un film Japonais avec Une Affaire de Famille de
Hirakozu Kore-Eda (la Palme d'Or 2018) et aussi le film Cold War nominé
plusieurs fois et pas que dans le film étranger.
Autre surprise absence de Timothée Chalamet pour My
Beautiful Boy alors qu'il est nommé partout dans les récompenses, même si on
n’a pas à rougir des nommés.
Donc Green Book, Vice et If Could Beaf Street cale un peu
sur la fin, avec assez peu de nominations.
La présence de Black Panther dans la catégorie du Meilleur
Film me donne des boutons surtout quand le film de Barry Jenkins est absent.
C'est Roma avec 10 nominations qui est en tête devant The
Favourite (9) A Star is Born (8) Black Panther et Vice (7) cette année la
cérémonie est très ouverte aucun ne devrait repartir avec une valise d’Oscars.
