C'est le chanteur Pia Tjelta qui a présenté cette soirée retransmis à la télévision avec la présence de la plupart des gagnants.
C'est le The King'Choice (Konges nei) d'Erik Poppe qui a gagné le titre du meilleur film long-métrage Norvégien de 2016 avec Jesper Christensen, Anders Baasmo Christiansen et Tuva Novotny. Le film que j'ai vu le même jour que Dunkerque de Christopher Nolan était présenté sous le titre "Ultimatum". Il a également obtenu le prix du scénario, des effets spéciaux, de la musique originale, du montage et de la conception sonore.
Côté comédien c'est Kristoffer Joner qui l'a remporté pour le Handle With Care, chez les actrices c'est Ruby Dagnall pour Rosemari qui a gagné.
