FESTIVAL SXSW 2017: le palmarès

Le palmarès du Festival South by South West (SXSW pour les intimes) vient d'être dévoilé.

Le Grand Prix dans la compétition fiction a été remporté par le film américain Most Beautiful Island de l'Espagnole Ana Asensio. Ce thriller psychologique se penche sur le sort des immigrantes sans papiers qui espèrent une vie meilleure à New York. Most Beautiful Island raconte un jour dans la vie de Luciana, une jeune immigrante qui lutte pour joindre les deux bouts tout en s'efforçant à échapper à son passé... Le Grand Prix documentaire est allé à The Work, des Américains Jairus McLeary et Gethin Aldous. Ce film raconte l'histoire de trois hommes qui participent à une thérapie dans la Prison d'État de Folsom.

A noter que le prix Gamechanger a récompensé le Turc Inflame de Ceylan Ozgun Ozcelik
